2019 Executive Committee

Sprouse Shrader Smith, a full service regional law firm with offices in Amarillo, Austin, and Victoria, is proud to announce the firm’s 2019 Executive Committee. Christopher L. Jensen, J.F. “Jack” Howell III and J. Brad Hickman have been elected and will serve as the Firm’s 2019 Executive Committee.  In addition to serving on the firm’s executive committee, Mr. Jensen will serve as the firm’s president.

Christopher L. Jensen is a litigation attorney with over 20 years of legal experience.  Mr. Jensen represents clients in commercial and personal injury litigation relating to oil and gas, power and utilities, water, and condemnation/eminent domain.  Mr. Jensen has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters since 2014 and was recognized as Texas Super Lawyers’ Rising Star prior to that time.  Mr. Jensen currently serves on the board of directors for Hidden Falls Ranch Christian Camp and the Amarillo College Foundation.

J.F. “Jack” Howell III is board certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Howell’s specialized client service includes assisting client’s with their tax minimization strategies in business organizations, transactions and agribusiness, as well as wealth preservation planning through liquidity and diversifications.

J. Brad Hickman is a real estate and business attorney with deep experience in negotiating and drafting contracts including real estate purchase and sale agreements, loan and securities documents, oil and gas leases, and construction agreements. Mr. Hickman is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
