Shyla R. Buckner and J.F. “Jack” Howell presented at the Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council’s Cooperative Board of Director Executive Training on Monday, February 6, 2017.  Their presentation, “The Good, the Bad, and the Unusual: Tips to Ensure Your Estate Plan Doesn’t Go Up in Flames,” answered questions including:  what are the biggest mistakes usually made in farm and ranch wills, what are some of the myths about wills, what are some of the most unusual things they have been asked to put in a will, and what are the tax consequences of the various options people place in their will?  The Sprouse Shrader Smith Wealth Management team is known for their ability to develop estate plans for farmers and ranchers.

The event took place in Amarillo Texas.
