Shane Brooks is a Member with Sprouse Shrader Smith PLLC whose broad transactional practice includes advising businesses and individuals in Texas and New Mexico in oil and gas, real estate, corporate and estate matters. Shane has extensive experience working with the firm’s sizeable oil and gas team on both large and small scale oil and gas title examinations and curative matters. He also works closely with small businesses to help navigate the many legal issues encountered in their operations. Together with other team members in the firm, Shane regularly advises clients on issues including entity formations, corporate and tax, agribusiness, banking, construction, collections and liens, wealth planning, probate, employment matters and gun trusts.

When he isn’t working, Shane spends time with his wife Brie, daughters Blair and Berklee, and son Sloan. Together they enjoy kids sports, attending and volunteering at their church home, spending time with their horses and a family ranching business, and numerous outdoor pursuits, including traveling often to the nearby mountains of New Mexico.
