Caroline Thurmaier

Caroline Stout Thurmaier is an Associate at Sprouse Shrader Smith, specializing in civil litigation. Her legal experience spans commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and family law. A native of Houston, Caroline graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 with a degree in Political Science and a certificate in International Relations. Before pursuing law, she taught 8th grade English in Katy ISD. Caroline then earned her J.D. with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2024, where she served as Assistant Executive Editor of the American Indian Law Review and as Director of Negotiations for the Board of Advocates, and competed on the Appellate Advocacy team at the Federal Bar Association Moot Court Competition. Outside of her legal career, Caroline enjoys reading, photography, and taking road trips with her husband and their goldendoodle, Bo.
