Changing Face of Water Law

Thursday, February 11^th, Marty W. Jones presented “Large Land Acquisitions and Groundwater Transactions” to the virtual audience of the Change Face of Water Law Course.  The presentation covered the challenges faced by those who want to meet the water needs of Texas by developing large water projects, using the Mesa Water experience as a backdrop.  Those challenges include political impediments, regulatory impediments, financial impediments, and practical impediments.
