Keeping up with all the deadlines can be difficult.  Here is a friendly reminder of some HR deadlines you don’t want to miss.

January 31st W-2s Due to Employees:
Are you ready?  Employers will meet the “furnish” requirement if the W-2s are properly addressed and post-marked and delivered electronically or by hand on or before the due date.

January 31st Earned Income Credit Notice Due:
The Earned Income Credit is a refundable tax credit for certain workers.  Federal and some state laws mandate employers provide notice of this tax credit to employees.

February 1st OSHA 300-A Posting Period Begins:
All employers required to keep Form 300, the Injury and Illness Log, must post Form 300A, the annual summary of job-related injuries and illnesses, in a workplace common area starting February 1 through April 30.
