Jeff Henry is Of Counsel with Sprouse Shrader Smith PLLC. Jeff has practiced in the areas of civil litigation and administrative law for more than 25 years. He has civil jury trial experience in state and federal courts, and has handled appeals to Texas appellate courts. Jeff has litigated disputes involving antitrust, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, declaratory judgment actions challenging validity of statutes and state agency rules, dram shop liability, DTPA claims, False Claims Act / Anti-Kickback claims, labor and employment, non-compete agreements, partnership disputes, peer review, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), professional malpractice defense, qui tam litigation, real estate disputes, retaliation, royalty rights, securities, shareholder oppression, state taxes, tortious interference, and whistleblower claims.

Jeff also represents clients in investigations, informal settlement conferences, contested hearings, and judicial review of administrative orders in licensure, disciplinary, enforcement, and compliance proceedings before Texas administrative agencies. He has handled cases before the Texas Medical Board, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, Texas Physician Assistant Board, Texas Real Estate Commission, Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Banking Commission, Texas Board of Nursing, Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, Texas Department of State Health Services (Professional Licensing and Certification Division), Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Texas Lottery Commission, Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, Texas State Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics, Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Jeff is licensed to practice before all Texas state trial courts, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, Texas intermediate appellate courts, Texas Supreme Court, United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas.
