Evans & Yarbrough Summary Judgment

Andrew R. Evans and Alex Yarbrough recently obtained summary judgment for their client, BNSF Railway Company, in a personal injury suit filed in Potter County, Texas. The suit was brought by an employee of BNSF under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. The employee claimed a traumatic shoulder injury from climbing a locomotive ladder. Mr. Evans and Mr. Yarbrough were able to show that the injury was not caused by any negligence on the part of the railroad.

Mr. Evans has represented the BNSF Railway Company for nearly 20 years, and he devotes a substantial portion of his practice to transportation litigation.
