Sprouse Associates Receive Honor from AABA
Each month, the Amarillo Area Bar Association (AABA) Board of Directors selects an attorney who has shown great promise in his or her field. Sprouse Shrader Smith is pleased to announce that Courtney White and Taylor Kelley were recently recognized by the AABA as the Young Lawyer of the Month for September and October, respectively.
Courtney has successfully handled several probate hearings and is currently developing her practice in real estate, corporate transactions, probate, and estate planning. After receiving a bachelor in economics (magna cum laude) from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Courtney moved back to Texas where she received her J.D. (cum laude) from SMU Dedman School of Law. She began working for Irwin Merritt Hogue Price & Carthel in 2012, and joined the Sprouse family in July of 2013. Courtney enjoys running and her new puppy, William.
In 2006, Taylor received his bachelors in business administration from Southern Methodist University and went on to graduate cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law. In 2009, Taylor accepted an associate position with Sprouse and has built his practice in the areas of corporate transactions, business entities, real estate, oil and gas, and corporate and securities. Taylor is an avid golfer and SMU football fan.
